i just got back from the casino

after playing poker for nearly 7 HOURS i came 8th our of 50 people and only won 20 quid..... what a load of bollocks

Was that the £100 freezeout?

I'm tempted to go and play Friday now.

Other side of uni life today lectures pretty much all day well 10-4 and an absolute state of a room to clean when I get in.

What a difference 12 hours makes :).

I actually find post 1 very entertaining :P

Are you attending a college? If then do college tell you to do your personal statement now? I was asking because my college mentioned it two weeks ago but nothing since has happened and I'm confused about when to apply etc

Yeah, year 1 was a real eye opener. They gave us 5 essays to get in before Christmas, that was a real killer but I did it. Towards the end of year 1 we didn't have a lot to do just two essays and an exam. I think it evened itself out. My tip is sort your time management out - it will make your life a lot easier.

As for Freshers, went to the induction to give the newbies an insight. There seems to be about 25 people starting the course this year as opposed to the 9 of us last year but I like our group, we are really close.

Ahh fair enough, just assumed you were from Leicester. I was going to say, if it was the one in Leicester, that is a shocking payout!

In other news, I just won another 90 man sit and go which has put me in a better mood.

Just finished my first day of work experience at the Leicester Merc sports department.

Mostly just sat around watching Australia v India on TV but got to edit an article with LD3 in!

Been told I get to go to a Tigers press conference tomorrow and a City one on Thursday so looking forward to those.

Bit of an average day at school, best part of the day was when someone forwarded the clock ten minutes when the teacher popped out of the room, allowing us to go ten mins early at the end of the day.

Apart from tha not much of a day.
