How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

I am getting worried about Matt's attraction with me.

Meeting with DNO went well. The ones in charge went to see about how to go about setting up as a CIC. There are set rules regarding how we carry out the business so cannot be political in any way. In the application we have stated that we exist to help the homeless and vulnerability housed offering support and advice.

This being so we will be changing our name to Down Not Out News and Support Agency. (DNO NASA)

The regular attendees  are being retained as advisers.

We  will be independent from any organisations or charities

It will be supporting and reporting on issues that relate to the above. It will be non profiting company but welcomes sponsors. Any money raised  will enable us to have paid staff.

So I may be asked in the future to take on one of these roles, Not really worth it at the moment as my income is means tested but when I reach 65 in a year or two I am allowed to do some hours on top of my pension. So I will use the next year or two to train for any role I may be asked to do in a volunteer capacity ensuring that I can do it confidently and to the best of my ability.

We were told today that DNO is being followed by a CEO of a multi-million corporation which shows that we have been noticed and sre taken seriously despite one or two doubters on here. We are one of the first groups to do what we are doing and other city's now have groups also doing the same,

I like it - instead of sending dogs into space we can just send the homeless.

What do you call a homeless man on the moon? A problem.

Two homeless men on the moon? A bigger problem.

Every homeless man on the moon? Problem solved.

cheers. As usual just brushing it under the carpet til I hear owt.

pisses me off though, the moments we could've shared this season would've been brill but hes just not been interested despite it being him who got me into city.

That's tough mate. I used to go down with my dad and it breaks my heart that he isn't around to enjoy our success this season.

Does it have a salt key?

Very funny joke Matt but

What do you call a Jewish man in  a concentration camp? A problem.

Two Jewish men in a concentration camp? A bigger problem.

Every Jew  in a concentration camp? Problem solved.

Is it as funny as the original?

It could be improved by changing to ex service homeless men, runaway children or  women fleeing from a violent relationship.

Went for a drive along the A6 from Belper to Buxton yesterday with a few stops for a Shandy and a wander, think it's the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. What a marvelous bit of country. Found a book store in the middle of nowhere called Brierlow Bar Bookstore.

That's just anti semetic to be honest.

 lol
