My promoted secondment has been extended until April next year but the poor bastard I am covering is in the middle of cancer treatment for a brain tumour and now found out he has prostate cancer.

He's only 55

Cancer's a bastard.

My Son was having a bit of trouble with a lad at primary school and let him push him about ,and many others at the school.you know the sort,well I told him that when he gets to senior school don't let him do it as it might look like your soft.Today this lad pushed my son and "TWVT" my son punched him in the face a few times.The lad ran off shocked,roaring and went to the head.Next thing the school phone up and tell me "physical assaults" are not tolerated!!! He is in isolation ( naughty class) Monday.Howeverim doubling his pocket money this week.Only because of previous.Think a few of the others who have had trouble from this lad think my Archie is the boss today.

I don't have kids but when the kids who live near my mum started causing her problems I just went round to their houses and told their dads that it stops now or they are getting a beating, funnily enough the kids never bothered my mum again and I didn't need to beat up their dads either.

Finished my sons bedroom yesterday and he spent his first night in there last night. He's 9 months old on wednesday and he slept all night :D . Very strange to have all the space back in my room which means i can finally turn my PS4 on. Havent played it for months cause my sons cot was in the way. The missus at work tonight so im gonna have to check out whats on PS+.

Got home last night to my daughter having the biggest lump on her forehead after having an accident at school. she was playing with kids in year 6 (she is year 3) and got knocked over and faceplanted some apparatus. Needless to say i wasnt very amused but i was calling Eggbert all evening. it really is massive. Why on earth is my 7 yr old playing with older kids. Walking out the school grounds theres older kids (girls and boys) saying bye to her. Dread to think what she will be like when shes older. Looks like i have got my work cut out lol

Got a text earlier inviting me to the launch of the Soundcafe  looks a worthwhile cause even though it mainly involves the church and set up by the Bishop of Leicester. DNO should now be an official CIC and can get on delivering services and reporting on worthwhile causes. (with the occasional 'misery porn' thrown in :) )

Brilliant,just had one of those guys telling me I have malicious files on my computer.oh no,what shall I do!

Kept the Cvnts on my phone for a record 21 mins before I let rip and told him what a conning cvnt he was,and I was just stopping him calling someone vulnerable for 21 mins.Fair play, he took my abuse well,he called me a fooking arsehole,whereas I resulted in repeating the same words as I had already used them all.My favourite opener to start the abuse off was" I have a question,do you suck your dads cock?"Then just full blown swear fest.it wasn't big or clever,but maybe ive saved some poor old dear from parting with £129.

Just got my iPhone 6 Plus. It is a beast!

lol, just think you could have already been enjoying the benefits of larger screens for years if you'd not have pledged your allegiance to a brand that's so comically off the pace. Still I hope you enjoy your Note ripoff.

Moosey, stop being so anti Apple. Apple are the innovators.

They aren't, Apple make premium products with a good UI but they haven't innovated since the first iPad and anyone who believes they have doesn't know the industry, nothing new on the iPhone 6 hasn't been on android or Microsoft phones for several years.

Anyone into singing? Went to the launch of SoundCafe in the rooms next th the Cathedral. Its been set up by volunteres to help vulnerable people have somewhere to go. There was a woman on a guitar and a bit of a sing song. however some of it was not my cup of tea. Country gospel type even You Raise Me Up and Sailing. But there was free cake and tea.

At the end of January next year There is going to be a special concert outside the cathedral. Three choirs will be performing. A church one one who have won an award and they are hoping to have one comprised of the visitors and regular users of SoundCafe.

So if the singing section of the City faithful want a bit of practice and want to feature performing a song especially written for the occasion the SoundCafe is open every Wednesday from 1pm to 3.30pm.

There is a link to info in an above post and there could be a piece in the Mercury soon. Their press team was there.

Ignore if not interested. It is 1,30am and I could be in bed instead.. :)
