How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Awful. I spent all day cleaning the house as the missus was meant to be discharged from hospital this afternoon but the doctor has been on call elsewhere so she has to stay the night despite her being fine. She doesn't want to discharge herself as her gran (a former nurse) told her not to. Her treatment since she got there yesterday morning has been awful. Massively obvious the NHS is understaffed but the three times I've been in to visit the amount of staff and nurses stood around chatting is ridiculous

Brilliant... Went to watch Countdown today, was better than I expected - they let you participate and everything. There was a man that was engaging with the audience, looks across to me , asks me a question and my housemates start saying stuff like "he's only here for Rachel". Though, I am a big fan of her.

From my experience of being on there, the audience was generally much younger than I thought it would be. Maybe they were there because of me.

It's never not good. A thing of beauty.

You were on Countdown, Stan? I don't think you've ever mentioned it before on here. :P

Quite interesting.

Sorted out my Ashes tickets for next summer and found out I've actually apparantly been living in poverty for the best part of the last year.

10-6 lol

Far better yesterday. Nobody hungover. And we managed to win 5-2. Even nearly scored myself, which is a rare sight.

Also absolutely piled up with Uni work. I've heard about third year, but didn't realise everything is just thrown at me (not literally). One thing finished, onto another.
