At me owd mans celeb me sisters 18th. Getting a dirty chinky in and sinking some coors cold with the fam. Safe

 

I think that means: I'm at my fathers house celebrating my sisters 18th birthday. We've ordered a Chinese take away meal and will be accompanying this with some alcoholic beverages and drinking these with the family. A great time will be had by all  :P

At the West End Centre there were some students from DMU. I was sittting at a table and some Chinese girl sat opposite and started chatting. She said she was studying finance and was in her final year. She was asking how to improve her English as she felt it was not that good. She asked if I had children and how I spent my time. I don't think she was chatting to attract me so to speak more that she felt safe with me. She said England was cold compared to China  but it was cleaner. There is no smoking ban there.

There was a Docfilm showing as part of the Homeless Film Festival. Poison Flower. If you get the chance to see it do so.

Been a tough week at work lots of travelling so may hit the hay already. Might take laddo swimming tomorrow and dunk his head under

When I worked in a charity shop a couple of years back I mentioned a young girl who came in to sign up for a volunteer. I did not know that their head office trawled the internet looking for mentions of their shops. I was told that what I posted on here was inappropriate. All I said was she was a nice looking girl. Like the one today nothing was meant by it.

Bloody hell,glad my boss isn't as PC.i read out loads of posts when I go in the office.They think they are hilarious.Someone put something on Tinder which I was crying over,think it was Una or MTWG." Stace and Syston curry house" they were all p!ssing themselves.The Cilla thread had them in stitches.

They know what I post under and couldn't give a shite.

Forgot to say,I went to a small new customer the other day and I often get customers opening up their life stories to me after 5 mins.This one didnt but as I left he said" ive got something for you.This book for your kids and this one is for you"( leaning forward grinning with a smile on his face)it was some sort of pornographic Japanese cartoon book.Rimming included.its in the office.

Just doubled checked as i was pretty sure but if they suspend you they have to disclose a reason as to why they are suspending you.

 

And if you don't get full pay while on suspension ,then you may be able to take them to a tribunal unless your contract states they do not have to pay you if you are suspended.

Yeah the lady who was in the office when I went to the union had never seen a suspension letter like the one my boss hastily threw together before.  A couple of colleagues have problems with my boss too for similar reasons ie. one of them was dismissed but only given 3 weeks instead of 7 weeks notice.  When the union got in touch with the bosses to say "erm, you've still got to pay her for the other 4 weeks" they tried intimidating her into coming back and working them.  On her first day of not needing to go in she received a phonecall from one of the bosses who proceeded to angrily tell her things like "I don't care what your union says" and "you've caused us enough trouble already" (because not allowing your employer to blatantly abuse your rights is a terrible thing for a person to do).

 

Carl, what do you do for work (or not as the case may be right now!)?

I was(/am?) one of the shop's customer services reps.  My payslip says I'm a deli assistant.

Sod them then hun. Wait to see what they do and if they dismiss you take it to a tribunal.
