How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Spent all day so far feeling fooking ill and finding bruises on me. Got too wasted last night, collapsed in a car park, lost my bank card I think, it's fooking baking and apparently I knocked some tables over. I was one of those knobs you see when you're out and go "twat".

But it was in Derby so it's allllllllllllllright.

Soakeded up the sun at the Groby football tournament watching my brothers team get hammered (not the team I coach however so that's good)

Having a saturday night in for the 1st time in months ready for my under 8's team's game in the morning.

Last night was a laugh at the reception, went fanclub after which was shit, ended up in casino and hit a cheeky income.

Back from Norwich. Awesome day. Game finished 5-5, easily the best match I've ever played in. Didn't really do much but set up the third goal with (to quote Norwich's club song) "a splendid rush". Playing in the sweltering midday heat was testing at times though.

According to a Norwich season ticket holder of twenty years who was watching, it was the best game he'd ever seen at Carrow Road. lol

Raised plenty of money for charity too.

I honestly thought the away changing rooms would be nicer. :o

No. A mate organised it himself (though I assisted) for a local Norfolk kidney transplant charity.

We did one last year too Layer Road in Colchester for Cystic Fybrosis but today's game just blew that away. Fantastic.

The best moment of the game was my housemate scoring our team's first goal and doing a mental celebration which nearly knocked me over, only to find out that his missus missed it as she was in the toilet at the time! lol

I went to an Indian wedding reception last night. It was somebody that my wife works with. I didn't really want to go because I didn't know any one there, but they couldn't have made us more welcome.

If only people could see that despite differences in culture and traditions how similar we all are.
