How Was Your Day?

Nice one Kareem! :D

Yesterday was lovely, nice and relaxed. Got up surprisingly early for saying I got in at 3 from the Casino on Friday night, had a sexy fry-up. Then lounged about watching TV for most of it and the England game. Then had my mates down for a game of Poker won £10. Then rekindled my love with Mama Janes in Loughborough for a B.O.G.O.F Pizza.

It's been brilliant.

Shit weather, but I took the missus out to a quite place and watched the England game, and afterwards proposed to her and she accepted and we both got all emotional. Not exactly the most romantic place or time, but one thing I do know is that my late father would have been proud of me for doing it this way - He did it exactly the same way to my mother some 30 years ago - after an England game lol

Nice one big man, congratulations  .

Thank you all - it was a bit of a surreal moment for me. I can't remember the last time I got that emotional.

Congrats Kareem!!!! Great stuff.

It was Heskey's goal that made your mind up wasn't it?

That was the icing on the cake. And considering we were playing Kazakhstan it was the perfect moment and occasion to shout Great Success

Have now finalised new job, and am now in that very special place that only happens once every few years....Being in a job that you're leaving, but before anyone knows.

I celebrated this freedom by getting absolutely wasted yesterday afternoon. I am now immensley hungover. And at work.

Just moved places and am now a proud (part-time) inhabitant of a nice 3-room flat in the heart of the Swiss capital of finance. Coupled with that is a job change, as I'm now doing editing and camerawork as well, and I'm glad it all happened at around the same time in May. You could call it coincidence...

Things are looking a bit brighter once more.

Oh, and congrats to Kareem!

Went to mate's house last night, it was shite and full of bells, so went town instead. Ended up in fucking Zanzibar for some reason (which is a revolting place - never go), took advantage of the £1 all drinks for about 10 minutes, then went Mosh which shat all over it.

You Hero.

The team I manage got to the semi's of the tournament saturday, lost to bad reffing and a blatent handball. Proud however. Quite one sat night and work last night was ok, then decided to fund Gala another £30 to help them through the credit crunch, having that place on my way home from work is criminal!

Finished college today, last day in the educational system ever... pretty emotional.

Now off into the big wide world to find a proper job that I want to do fulltime for the time being.

Good luck... I hope you find something you enjoy, and soon
