How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Meh.

Went for a college interview, and got told I'm on the reserves list which wasnt what I was hoping for.

Gonna get a haircut then go and have an interview with the army I think later.

Don't lose all hope though, When I was at college around 4 or 5 people dropped out within the first few weeks.

Just need to keep my options open mate, got a brief with an army recruitment officer sorted out so gonna pop along to that :)

Yeah fair enough, can't just sit around waiting for it to come to you, need to have back-up plans.

I've just been to college to see if I could move the day CAD course i've been enrolled on, as it was on a Tuesday night (There is a Tuesday and Thursday night the course is on) but as it was a Tuesday i'd miss a few City games so went to see if I could move to the Thursday night, Good job I did, they'd put my on the 2D course, I wanted the 3D course - Which is on Wednesday nights so all is good.

Went for a swim.

That's about it today.

Oh God. Those films are just so predictable now! Waste of money to be honest.

Yes it was a bit of pissing my money up the wall really... 9 quid for the privilege of wearing twatty looking uncomfortable glasses.. 6 quid for a hot dog and a drink.... and 3.50 for the pint to make the movie more watchable lol.

Getting really nervous about starting my new job. :/

They might pick on me and be really horrible. (And that's just the other teachers, nevermind the kids!)

Good luck Fi, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Decent so far. Went out and got pretty much everything sorted for uni now, with my mum determined to buy pretty much everything I'll ever need before I go. Saves me doing it all anyway... ^_^

Mum's are great for that sort of thing.

Who gives a fuck about today, tomorrow I'm going on holiday. 5 nights in the South of Italy, lovely.

Jealous! Have a great time James.

As for me, I'm a little sad as the nipper goes back to school tomorrow and I've sort of got used to her being around all the time. Also just found out my new subject content for year 2 at Uni, it's shit and I want to go back even less now. Had a lovely couple of days in Scarborough which has lifted the spirits no end.

Can always rely on the ladies to give me a good send off. Thank you. Weather forecast is sunny and 30 degrees.

Sorry.

Don't be sorry on my account, 30 degrees is way too hot for pale old me.

Shit.

Having the biggest post Leeds come down known to man which resulted in me having to have my first ever day off from work which I'm pissed off about, I feel rough.

Get well soon Tizza

Thank fuck for the "+"...

I was of this opinion too :D

That's ok, I really am a big fan of cold, damp weather. No, really.

Crap,

We ran over my cat on the way to school.

Never recovered from that really.

R.I.P VeeBee. Gone but never forgotten

Tell me it wasn't named after the beer.

Long story.

We moved out her in '00, and we wanted a cat, but because we were renting we couldnt.

Moved back to the UK in 04, and we got 2 cats, and we decided to name them Australian things, and VeeBee was one of them.

So we came back here in '06 and they came with us.

Aaah, memories.

I was impressed that your cat went to school to be honest! ;) (apologies, couldnt resist!)

Sorry for your loss it must have been very traumatic. :(

It did remind me of the time my Dads friend who had a huge garden and used a sit-on mower ran over his kids 2 guinea pigs that had got out of their pen by accident with it.... bits of "Fluffy and "Ginger" everywhere!

Watched Sileby yesterday in the early evening, then went to the cinema last night for the first time in a while. Ended up in the casino for the second night in a row and somehow came out with a profit again.
