I just e-mailed them.

Didn't even have to send them any of my portfolio of published articles or anything.

Seriously?? I wrote them several letters last year and got a reply saying they had no space.

Dont suppose you can find out if they have anymore placements can you.

I'm on for the 8th night in a row, freshers has officially finished but no one seems to have listened.

Love it mate, everything's going well so far. Living with some decent people, always nice. Just about to head out now, should be a decent one I reckon.

Ahh fair enough, just assumed you were from Leicester. I was going to say, if it was the one in Leicester, that is a shocking payout!

In other news, I just won another 90 man sit and go which has put me in a better mood.

I am from Leicester mate just in Manchester for uni!

nice one! you play live alot? or on internet mostly?

To be honest I was barely able to read the appalling handwriting of the guy who sent the report in, he only gave the results and the scorers in each game. lol

Is your team's nickname The Aths by the way? Because if not, I've just coined it.

Yeah it is the Aths.

Aslong as somewhere in the article it says Aths and Huge Cupset then i'm happy. :P

Play in a home game about once a week, also down my local pub once a week. Looking to qualify for the regionals next year, joined too late this year. Not played down the casino lately, finished 12th last time though. Much prefer playing live vs Internet, so much more to gain.

How about you?

Yeah, year 1 was a real eye opener. They gave us 5 essays to get in before Christmas, that was a real killer but I did it. Towards the end of year 1 we didn't have a lot to do just two essays and an exam. I think it evened itself out. My tip is sort your time management out - it will make your life a lot easier.

As for Freshers, went to the induction to give the newbies an insight. There seems to be about 25 people starting the course this year as opposed to the 9 of us last year but I like our group, we are really close.

Cool. I went to first lecture today. First thing he said was that t will be an hour (meant to be 2 hours) and that we didn't have to go to the later one lol

And only got 1-2 pm tomorrow :D
