everyones calling me stupid for doing it, i just want someone to believe i can win!!

Maybe if you spent less money on expensive fruity beer you'd have more cash to your name...

The very fact I own it is brilliant in itself. I wouldn't use one for self pleasuring purposes, they're a bit powerful :S

It's a tool in my war against Charly the cat and her disgusting hairs

Went gym, Just got back from College.

Also got a cheque through the post today for the jacket a bar lost on Christmas Eve, They said maximum insurance liability was £65 so I was happy just to recieve that, but when filling in the insurance claim form i'd already bought a replacement jacket for £72 so sent them the receipt and the cheque is for the value of £72, very happy with that, and the bar said they'd give me free drinks vouchers!

Thats really good actually! I didnt think theyd pay out for stuff like that, thought it was always a case of you leave them at your own risk and all that crap! Nice to hear they've done the decent thing

Did I mention my day was shit? Oh well I did now. Just been to visit my best friend in hospital with Pneumonia and was shocked at how ill she was. Time to hit the bacardi I think :(

Yeah i'm really surprised, I've never really looked into it - I've never had too, but when I had sobered up in the morning I checked the ticket and there were disclaimer's saying they don't take responsibilty for this or that, blah blah blah, but if you still had the ticket and they'd lost the jacket it would be a maximum of £65, but I managed to get £75 and a few drinks out of it

(If truth be known, I wanted a new jacket aswell, so i've now got one, for free :))

I didn't realise how bad Pneumonia was until my Grandma got it years ago, It's nasty. Hope shes better soon.

Thanks guys! I was surprised when I got told she'd got it, shes only 38 and I always thought it was something that just affected old people or those with underlying health conditions but when I got there tonight I was totally shocked at how poorly she is. Just laying there white as a sheet, coughing up blood, on oxygen and a drip. Its upset me a lot to be honest.

I had that twelve months ago with my Grandad. Horrible. It's very rare I ever mention anything in regard to illness etc. because if I don't know the person affected or the 'victim', then I feel that 'get well soon' comments become hollow and almost token. However, in this case I can truly understand the feeling.

I guess some people don't like other people to be sad and so want to try and make them feel better by showing they care, or by being sympathetic. That's how it is for me anyway :)

For me, given that I have been lucky with family and friends suffering illness/poor health (one of my relative has just been given the news that she has breast cancer), I am rather scared about all of it. Thus I just don't like dwelling on it.

It's horrible. Getting pneumonia ranks as one of my worst fears. If your mate has no underlying medical issues, she should make a full recovery? Just think of that?

Today it dawned on me that I have the ability to talk utter gobshite, but to talk utter gobshite with confidence and conviction. If I don't make it as a lawyer, I probably have a career in politics. :(
