Yesterday was a day I'll remember for a long time. Thanks to my Dad's PR work I got to go to the filming of Richard Hammond's Christmas DVD. I met the man himself and had several conversations with him. He is a really nice down to earth guy who was keen to talk to people and get involved. He was racing a rally cross bike driven by Rally Dakhar driver Mick Extance.

Wonderful. My achilles tendon seems to have finally recovered and, after six long months of wondering if I'll ever post a decent golf score again, I've just enjoyed my best round for months and the company of two terrific playing partners as a bonus.
