How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Just like to say congratulations to Chris Moyles and Comeday Dave (David Vitty) for raising in excess of £2.4million pounds for Comic Relief, and breaking the world record for longest stint on radio (52 hours I think).

Their shows since Wednesday morning were nothing short of hilarious. Plenty of guests joined in the fun - Katy Perry, James Corden, Davina McCall, Craig David to name a few - and it's proved to be such a huge success for charity. And they only said that £100k would be enough lol ! I texted in more than a few times and did my part

So yeah, well done to them and everyone who took park/donated :D

Pattern emerging, food poisoning??

Nah, we're both veggies so it would take some seriously shit cooking for it to be food poisoning lol. It's a stomach bug the wee man had and has delightfully passed on to us.

I don't like Chris Moyles but fair play to him for that!

I'm just really fucked off with pretty much everyone today. Gonna go home and rant at Comic Relief in private. I swear if I have to communicate with 'real people' any longer today I might actually have to punch someone. Was planning on going to Sainsbury's on the way home, too, but have decided it's a recipe for disaster... trolly rage would only be the start of it.:@:banghead:

Went to the gym earlier and burnt off 930 cals approx, didnt touch any weights today, just ran, cross trainer, rowed and used bike - i hate these days but at 16 stone i need to do cardio aswell  or so the wife says

Went to the gym last night first time in 5 days and did me groin on the cross trainer ffs. It may be low impact but it is such a unique leg movement.

Bag o'shite.

Long term un-employed lazy f00kers are toss pots.

You challenge people, asking why they haven't found work. Look to put them on placements because they're f00kin lazy bastards, push them to apply for suitable vacancies, then receive complaints because they're 'being pushed' in to doing stuff and work take there side - hahah cvnts.

Meeting with HR next week because I have challenged people to job search (basically my job) - what a f00king joke.

Got back into sheffield a couple hours ago after two brilliant days up in Edinburgh.

Some fantastic architecture and the views from up Calton Hill and the mountain next to Holyrood were immense.

Bed now then a mid-morning train home to hopefully see City pick up 3 points! :scarf:

why?

Eurgh the usual. Football, "love-life", failure to do anything, obligation to be up at 7.30am tomorrow. Not sure if they're in that order or not.

EDIT: having read that again my original post sounds pretty overwrought. But still.

Ireland destroy England in the rugby, I've finally able to hold down food and drink after Thursday and Friday and The Killing is on tonight.

Pretty fucking good day I'd say - tainted only by the ineptness of the Leicester performance.

Nearly applied for uni there but never been. I knew it was going to be good but was genuinely taken aback by it.

I am a big fan of propaganda but was absolutely shattered, was up at 6 to leave on thursday morning and up all day.
