How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Just come bike from a bike ride, stopping off at Currys in Fosse Park.

Some of the stuff they are selling makes me marvel really.

Blu-Ray DVD player with theatre surround sound on Bluetooth. No wires to any of the speakers.

Tv's that literally look like you are there at the event.

The new laptop-tablet combo's that make so much sense IMO.

A Dyson 'room heater' that somehow apparently heats an entire room from a hollow cylinder no bigger than a couple of foot high.

Where does it all stop?

Shame I'm skint....

Antique watch dealer and t.v. Celebrity, skint , surely not.

Just heard that a family friend's son and his girlfriend died in a car accident on the A14 last night. Puts my worries into perspective - those poor parents went to bed yesterday with a son/daughter alive and well and woke up to find the whole world has changed this morning. My heart breaks for them, tragic.

Sorry to hear that buddy

Cheers Col.

Just found out from my folks that the guy who caused it has survived with minor injuries - he was driving the wrong way down the A14. In custody right now. ****ing unbelieveable.

Now why does this always seem to be the case, the guilty party gets away with scratches and the innocents die.

its almost as though idiots/scumbags/criminal lowlife have the "unbreakable" genes whilst us mortals are just that

Too true mate. It seems to always be the way. This **** was wrecked, driving on the wrong side of a dual carriage way and he's survived with minor injuries. There's absolutely no justice.

In Leicester Crown Court following the Iain Lawrence case. He deliberately drove into a tree and killed his wife, for those who don't know. On trial for murder, and the judge spent the morning summing up the facts and evidence for the jury. Currently the lunch break, he'll finish summarising at 2pm (with the motive the most important part to come) but the evidence doesn't look good for him.

The case has been in the news recently, one of the most interesting I've read about or sat in.

Well... Boring.

I fractured my missis' hip Sunday night whilst you know what!

I've never seen someone in so much pain, I really haven't (never seen a leg break at Sunday league or anything)

So I'm looking after her whilst working as well. There's naff all on tele too!

That's a difficult one to explain to the relatives.

How can you break a hip lol that's brilliant.

I once snapped my banjo string at it. Pure pain for an hour.

It was more to do with the legs over the shoulders than it was size!! lol

Can't believe I've just said that on the internet!

I don't know whether I feel proud or guilty really, I've never broken a bone on anyone (well maybe a couple of noses at football but that's it) nevermind the girl I love.
