Is it sport that's done your knees in? My Mrs has had one of hers replaced. Titanium now, worth a fortune!

She's only about 34. Arthritis related, but I'm not sure she actually needed it doing, so not sure what happened there. Said she got pressured by her ex husband into having it done. They said it should last about 10-15 years.

Yours have had some hammer then!

No, she can't walk anymore! She was struggling anyway after breaking a leg and being in a hospital bed for ages on top of the arthritis, which is probably why the doctors recommended it. It gives her more jip than her other real knee, but they're probably more suited to people who use them often for walking, not sure.

Thy Glorious One will not be happy if you have a knob enlargement btw. Cosmetic surgery in most cases is the devils work  :lei1:

Had a embarrassing moment this morning.

The scrap merchants who drive around seemingly everyday shouting 'any old iron' came around again. So I got an old iron from my house and went outside. They pulled over and I said 'do you accept these'......he looked at me bemused and after a few seconds said 'yes'.......I thought it would be funny but it was just really awkward.

lol seriously?

I'm currently doing Insanity workout, finished day 3 workout today, bloody hard work!

I did the Insanity workout before, during and after University, for nearly a solid 6-7 years. That was before it had a name of course. However, I've seen the advert and I don't seen any of the excessive drinking, and mental torture games that I 'exercised with'. Seems a lot about squatting and jumping and such. I think a name change should be in order, because I really really doubt you'd be testing your mental strengths with star jumps.

Good day so far. Just handed in a cheeky job application for seasonal staff in GAME, the bloke at the till said the manager's looking at the CVs today so I might be the first one he looks at  Didn't seem to be advertised much and I just caught it as I was looking in the window, only one A4 sheet overshadowed by a massive cardboard cut-out for a senior sales  manager, so there might not even be that many applicants.

Seems like a good job, plus there's some good perks to go with it. Fingers crossed  :fc:  :fc:  :fc:
