How Was Your Day?

Recommended Posts

Going on a work night out on Friday, we don't know where yet.

And should I ask a girl out on a date or not? Only problem is that she might be going to New Zealand on a Uni placement from January until June, so that's kinda putting me off.

Do it, if she says yes then great.

If she says no, smile and still speak to her and start looking for the next one.

Don't worry about the future.

We were on a train on Saturday night and I think something was clicking, conversation kept flowing. Although when I had to get off it ended with a somewhat awkward hug

Thanks guys - had a fair amount of support today so that helps a lot. Bit of a shite having no dough and keep getting knocked back but as you guys have said, just got to keep plugging and something will come up.

Bad luck with that one. Was that the job in Korea?

Just finished packing my things for work.

Pretty darn excited to see The Antarctic next month!

You going to The Antarctic with work? If so sounds like a great job! Are you searching for long lost civilisations or oil or something?

Your own intuition should let you know if she likes you, casually suggest something and if she is interested she will come. If she makes an excuse then don't ask again and brush it off and treat her as normal.

So you're the wise head/role model of the gang? This doesn't bode well for Friday night lol GOOD LUCK

Out of the younger group yes. There's some oldies there too but we all stick to our little sections when socialising at lunch. I don't even know where we're going. just got told to come out on Friday. Let's hope it's planned by Friday lunchtime!

The DNO project is nearing the end in it's present form. It will still be around but changing some aspects and introducing new ideas. There will be encouragement for Media Training for those that want it. The project has been a great success with service users being helped  to gain new skills and various organisations showing support.

An end of project celebration lunch/night is being planned. Should be good.

The radio will still carry on with a new venue being set up soon.

Me and my wife went down our local last night for a pub quiz.

We were talking to one of our friends who told us that she eats beef Oxo cubes so I asked her if she put them in her mouth whole or broke them up beforehand.

At this point she stood up to leave and said, quite loudly, "I just put it in my mouth and suck".

You could hear a pin drop until the laughter started.

The funniest bit was that she hadn't realised what she'd said.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

Hope it goes well,he has obviously got talent.Friends we go on holiday with lad has just been put on a 3 year contract at Peterborough u14,long way to go but has had to move schools which I believe has the PUFC 1st team training there too .His day starts at 8 and ends at 5. Which is tiring,I assume it is the same thing at Pompey.Your lad is only 16 and in the u19s.must be good.Weird thing is our friends are from Portsmouth and the lad supports them.

That's really good. I think the trick is to grasp the opportunity but be under no illusion that it's a cut-throat business and not to get hopes up.

My lad's pretty level-headed. The good thing about this Portsmouth squad is that he's getting an education alongside the football which will enable him to go to Uni if it doesn't work out on the football side.

I'm impressed with the club's philosophy in that they accept that there are players that don't get 'spotted' when they're younger and appreciate that kids develop physically at different rates.

The development squad gives them an opportunity to do what it says on the tin - develop.

Would rather see him in City kit than Pompey kit though

What!? I thought down and out was about to go global? But now you're saying it's all over. Why is it finishing? Too much like hard work?
