Left LA this morning for day 1 of driving up to San Francisco today. Stopped at Malibu, Santa Barbara and staying the night here in Pismo Beach. The stretch of coast from Malibu and headed north is just brilliant to look at and to drive. Think if I ever come back I may just head straight for that area to stay.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Morro Bay, Big Sur and staying the night in Carmel so should be another fun day out on CA1 :thumbup:

Done that route at stopped at most of those places,would love to go back, Americas our favorite place, brilliant country to visit.

Has he been working today?

I fear my house needs rewiring too. Is that price including making good of walls etc?

My birthday today, woke up at 8am feeling horrendous. My throat/neck had swollen to about twice its size and I've had a headache I cant shift. Nearly cancelled going to The Hunting Lodge in Barrow but went in the end. Had to pull out of 6a side tonight though I can't imagine running around like a tit for half an hour feeling like this.

Cant even imagine going to work tomorrow yet.

My nephews 3rd birthday party.

 

It was a pirate party, my dad went full out and looked great, I decided to go as a pirate accountant as I had just bought a new shirt.

 

As it turned out apart from the kids no adults dressed up, nevermind.

 

Plus I was in my element loads of kids, loads of toys, it was awesome.

 

Got to try and persuade my sister and brother in law to have another kid.

Went into town and did nothing.

Im going to be doing a reading on bunga ulungu radio tomorrow, lottery funded aimed at the Liberian community in Leicester

Ran by a friends nephew who was made homeless, I haven't spoke to him but I'm told it was the bedroom tax. Like I say I don't like to spread rumours so it might not be true. He says he has never had a house so it's probably exgerratred.

Bacon was on offer in the butchers, was going to get some but got stopped in the street by a charity worker.

Bus looked old, I'm on the radio tomorrow.

I suppose Mail readers and some on here will think he got what he deserved.

Feeling good. Was in the queue at the supermarket cafe to get a coffee. Not too hungry so something naughty to have with it wasn't in my contemplation. Two places behind me in the queue is a mum with a toddler. The little lad bustled up next to me with excited eyes, pointing at the last cookie saying "mummy, mummy, can I have that cookie?" "Of course you can darling" said his mum and a big beaming smile lit up the young lads face. Then it comes to me to place my order. "Can I have a coffee ....... oh, and that cookie please."

It tasted better than I could have dreamt.

Perhaps should have stuck this in the Absolute Cvnts thread!
