What are you watching now?

Film on ITV called Sixty Six. About a Jewish boy who is not happy when his Barmitza clashes with the 1966 world cup. Wonder if they'll show any football?

Think there might be a bit near the end

Just had a good line. He's talking about what his uncle said and writing a letter to Frankie Vagun asking him to perform.

Hope you don't mind me writing to you but 'thats the thing about being Jewish. With not much foreskin you need a lot of balls'

Anyone watch Lifers? I have it sky plus'ed and will watch it tomorrow. Looks good

S

aw the one yesterday. It was quite good. Is it repeated or a series?

That Sixty Six film wasn't too bad. Watchable. Some funny moments in it and a reasonable story based around 1966 and the World cup.

Funny because the yong lad didn't want England to win because the final clashed with his barzmitza. He tried putting spells on the team amongst other things.

Just started to watch a film on BBC Iplayer. Tim. An Aussie film about a young man with learning difficulties who falls for an older woman he does odd jobs for. Seems a bit slushy and dated but the subject matter seened interesting.

Thought about watching Macbeth. Theres more choice than normal with the films.

Just realised it's Mel Gibson in. I knew the face but he's very young in it. 1979

Not too bad. Thought it might be more about him learning to read etc but it was more of a romantic drama with a couple of daths thrown in. Must have been one of his first films. Thought heplayed the part well. Very different to his later roles.
