I found the first season rather slow, but enjoyed a few of the mafia characters. The mother and analyst put me to sleep though. The second season has started reasonably well but if it wasn't that my wife is really enjoying it I think I'd have dropped it by now.

This movie attempted to emotionally rape me, but I held strong as what felt like an oncoming avalanche of tears turned into a belly laugh at all the people up and down the country bawling at it and the possible few that might have watched off my tip. I hope I made one of you cry

In the last few days I've been annihilating two seasons of HBO/BBC's Rome from a few years ago. It passed me by a bit when it was originally on, but it's really great. I highly recommend it to anyone with LoveFilm Instant.

the latest doctor who episode was a tad disappointing - I liked the build-up but once they got onto the pyramid-y thing it sort of turned a bit dull, particularly given the sonic appears to be able to be a weapon now as well, what's the bloody point of 45 minutes work if he can just wave the sonic and defeat someone?
