I think it's a great movie, considering it was Ben Affleck's first major production as a director. Well, the novel it's based on is a great story, anyway - same author that did "Mystic River" (which also coincidentally plays in Boston). I loved the twists and turns and the violence is never attention-seeking or over-the-top. It's got its thrilling moments, as well. Highly recommendable.

Watched it yesterday after you recommended it. I must say, it's one of the best films i've seen this year and that's the first time i've knowingly seen Casey Affleck in a film and he was absolutely superb.

It's a very thought provocking film and one i'm still unsure on where I sit with it. I urge others to watch it, very good.
