Crossing at the bottom of university road earlier, waited for all those turning from the far side of the road (those heading towards town) to stop, then turn and check those coming out of town, neither of the front cars have started yet and neither are indicating, so i assume that they're going straight on and start to cross (in my defence that assumption is usually correct). i think to avoid it, set your clocks (e.g watch, phone) to the timezone of the place you are travelling to, and have a short nap on the plane, to trick your body into taking the new time you've set on watches etc. as the actual time.

this might not work, i've never flown anywhere but from my understanding of jet lag i can't see why it wouldn't.

Work out when 16 hours before breakfast is in your destination, and fast from there until breakfast, and then have lunch * dinner at normal times. In theory your body clock should've reset itself.

so it was this that made you flip and send me a private message asking me to stop picking on you? I thought it might have been for responding to you attempting to bait me in the football rivalries thread when you, yknow, went looking to be confrontational and then didn't like getting it back.

I wasn't taking the piss in this instance. I just recently went on two eleven hour flights and all the gubbins we got from VA about jet lag stated that travelling Eastwards was typically worse. It was my understanding that this was the common consensus on the issue.
