People repeatedly posting on twitter and going on about the French pole vaulters knob knocking the bar off, but it was actually his shin/knee that hit the bar first and dislodged it.

First ? So shin then knob ?

Correct. His shin knocked the bar off and it just happened to brush against his knob afterwards.

People going on that his manhood cost him a medal but that’s not the case.

Just felt I needed to set the record straight on this important matter.

Tbh, if I was that athlete I would definitely be claiming it was the knob and would sue anyone who said otherwise

My GP wants me to call to arrange a med review.

My consultant organises my med and I saw them 6 weeks ago and again next week, so I contacted my surgery to ask if it is really necessary. They said it was as they'll check my blood pressure and weight as well.

I said that was all checked too, when I saw a member of the consultant's team.

Still need to see GP apparently, the consultant and his team don't share the info with the surgery and they have no access to it. :S

So, apologies. If you can't get an appointment at the same surgery as myself, it may be because I'm having something checked that has already been checked.

Rant over.

Being a private dental patient and being treated like shit.

There are zero spaces in our area for NHS, even private surgeries are full - MyDentist looks to be remaining my dentist and explains their woeful attitude to customer care.

People who park in handicapped spaces that are not blue card holders and clearly not handicapped.

I guess you check the card is present - a lot of disabilities are invisible to the naked eye, so unsure about “clearly not handicapped” and that term is very outdated by the way.

I have no issue with invisible disability but not having a blue badge I do find highly objectionable.

People who use the word "do-gooder" as an insult.

Cos that's the last thing you want, people going around, doing good things. What is the world coming to!?

Who’s pissed you off and called you a do-gooder then
