What grinds my gears...

Recommended Posts

People that press the "waiting" button at a pedestrian crossing when the road is clear or will be in the next few seconds. It's such a brain dead move.

Eh, can be a sensible thing to do - for the average bradford driver, a speed limit is a minimum, indicators are some sort of unnecessary extra and they have right of way over the pedestrian crossing infront of them. The amount I've seen that speed up when someone is on a zebra crossing, causing them to have to run across the rest of it, is ridiculous.

Not really grinding my gears, but the continuous crackling sound of a leather jacket is rather irritating.

Have you tried PVC instead? :innocent:

Power going out to the entire street when I'm in the middle of a particularly poignant shit.  And instead of toilet paper there's a roll of kitchen towels.

Wow, must have been one powerful shit. >_<

Over in the Football Forum, people starting threads with a title that is simply a player's surname, when there have been about ten identically named threads created in the previous month.

The worst thing is that the content is usually something utterly inane. Can't there just be one thread for each player, in which conversation about that player can continue in perpetuity?

Totally agree. Sometimes a thread created about the same player in the same day.
