Don't support him if you don't want to, but dont support his opponents just because you want him to lose. Its irrational and crass.

 

So if I dislike him, want him to lose, but i'm not allowed to support his opponent, who exactly am I supposed to want to win in his matches?

Exactly. There's a world of difference between not supporting someone, to supporting whoever they play and taking great joy in their defeats. Matt's like it with Arsenal too, I find it odd.

Be neutral and just enjoy the play. TBH I've never gotten the idea of disliking someone that much through limited information anyway.
