Good call - Ferrer is a pain in the arse for just about anyone on clay. Except his old pal Nadal, who he'll promptly roll over for in the semi-final. Another Djokovic - Nadal final coming up, as I called. :P

Murray made far too many errors. You can't do that against someone of Ferrer's calibre and get away with it....on clay Ferrer is way too consistent. He needs to look to the grasscourt season where he'll be a bit stronger.

Of all the Grand Slams Roland Garros is the one Murray has the least chance of winning, It's his weakest surface and Nadal is unstoppable. Can't see him winning Wimbledon this year either but hopefully he'll manage a semi or possible even a final.

Another Nadal - Djoko final. Ho hum.

Still, I reckon it'll be entertaining in a brutal kind of way.

NB. Is there really any point in any Spanish players playing against Nadal at GS events? They may as well just retire pre-match and give him the walkover because that's what happens anyway. Happens at all the Slams too.

The tournament director at Queens must be tearing his hair out...two of the biggest draws at his place out after their first match. lol

Tsonga to win it now, you would think. Murray was utterly dire, but Mahut is no slouch on grass. Roddick is finished.

Having seen a few replays it may have been accidental. Either way it's one of the stupidest things he'll ever do.

Like when Henman hit that ball at the ball girl at Wimbledon years ago.

Probably an instant reaction of anger but unforunate somebody else was hurt due to it.

What a ridiculous moment from Nalbandian. Kicking out like that is inexcusable, especially as a top level athlete who's meant to be setting an example to aspiring kids around the world. It's a shame for the paying public who've been denied a chance to see the match come to a 'proper' conclusion, but I can't see any other decision they could have reached.

The cheap shot at the ATP afterwards is also pretty childish.

Can't stand that line judge, pathetic reaction. Kick him again David.

If you are joking, then great, but if you're not.. then WHAT?!?! He got a solid sharp edged Ad Board slammed into his leg from a close range and has a gash in his leg because of it, how would you react?

Can see an early exit for Murray, a very nasty draw for him.

Davydenko has caused Murray problems in the past and then a likely match against Karlovic with his serve will always be a threat. Then possibly Anderson/Dimitrov/Baghdatis who can all cause problems on their day (both Anderson and Dimitrov impressed me at RG), then Raonic/Cilic imo and then one from Del Potro/Roddick/Ferrer. Very tasty draw in Murray's quarter!

Davydenko is nothing like the player he used to be, and he's terrible on grass so that should be straightforward enough. Potential QF v Delpo/Roddick/Ferrer isn't too bad, Roddick is in serious decline and the other 2 are relatively poor on grass, much rather face Delpo or Ferrer than Berdych or Tsonga at the QF stage.

Karlovic and Cilic/Raonic are the danger matches imo.

Some really decent matches for R1, Nalbandian v Tipsarevic, Fognini v Llodra (should be hilariously entertaining) Haas v Kohlschreiber, Djokovic v Ferrero.

Potentially tough draw for Murray...fortunately most of the big servers in his area (Karlovic, Anderson et al) move with about the same speed as continental drift, and given that grass courts have been slowed down considerably recently movement as well as serve has become important. Murray should be able to outmanoeuvre them. And barring that result against Hewitt way back in the mists of time Karlovic has been crap at Wimby.

Ferrer is the optimal QF opponent, can't argue with that....much rather him than Berdych/Tsonga. So while his draw is tough...it's not massively so. Still expect him to reach the SF.

As for the others...Fed has a cakewalk to the SF, Djoko nearly the same but Berdych in the QF would be interesting. Nadal has it a bit tougher...potentially Kohlschreiber in R3 who has troubled him before and then Tsonga in the QF who is very, very dangerous on grass.
