Mario Karts..........

Thats about the only decent game for the Wii

Bundle here for you daggers:

Nah.

For a start off they'd need two wheels and then there's the fact that they'd prefer stuff that wasn't karts...the lad loves his Lego Indi Jones and his Star Wars and his Marvel superheroes while the girl likes really pink girl stuff - fluffy shit with big eyes.

Thanks for the thought though

We bought a Wii for the kids. We picked Mario & Sonic at the Olympics.

The extra controllers and nunchuks are a flipping rip off though.

The games are a rip-off. They are comparable with PS3/360 titles which is a joke. That Zelda game is still £40!

As for that Wii Fit, Nintendo are a joke. Amazon are charging £134 for it and in the shops, if you can find it, it's £70. Nintendo are clearly fleecing consumers by producing these boards in dribs and drabs so that they can get maximum profit out of it.

It's not even that good.

Why do people buy it? There's hardly any titles out for it that are any good!

...and is the balance board worth it?

Yes its a brilliant add on for games like Family Ski, Skate It, Winter Sports and that new snowboarding one. I would recommend it but at the right price.

Probably the game my kids and their mates enjoy the most is Wario Wares Smooth Moves. Its a bit mad. Very different game to others where you have to complete mini games by doing something different with the remote within a certain time period. It gets faster and faster. Great fun.

Wario at amazon

Carnival Games is not too bad just to pick up and play. You go to the fairground and have to knock the tins over, shot water in the clowns mouth, flip the frog, dunk the punk, mini golf etc, etc. Its a good game for everyone to have a go at.

Carnival at amazon, £10!

There is Cooking Mama where you ahve to do the actions to cooking. My camp nephew likes this one

Cooking, £15

You get Sports with it which you will need another wiimote and nunchuck to get the full two player benefit of.

Mario Kart is good and you dont need the wheel to play it and of course Guitar Hero but thats probably a little too old.

Hope that helps

By the way you can now soft mod a wii to play backups using something called the twilight hack. All you need is the software, an SD card and the original of Zelda. Not tried it myself as I dont agree with this sort of thing.

Worth buying Wii play to get the extra remote with a game included (advertised as the other way round I think).

I tried to get that but it was sold out.

Okay... there's rabbid demand for your product (and has been for a year... do you stall supplies and make people pay over the odds for your product (of which you get no money!)? Or do you produce as much as you can and hop it's enough?

It is this Gen's PS2 i.e. the most popular console... and as such attracts a high volume of Shovelware! And true most of the games on that list were awful... But you don't buy ALL the games released for a console.. you buy the good ones!
