Libertine Posted 25 January 2009 Share Posted 25 January 2009 From First To Last? Not strictly 'emo', but check out Fugazi. Big influence on many emo groups. From the first wave of that kind of style really. Check this oot. Got all your stereotypical bands like FoB etc, but loads of others too that are more truly emo. Mineral. I wasn't talking to you, Mr. Expertlyemo.

Never heard of that but I'll look it up. Did you by any chance go to see Mark Lanegan and Isobel Campbell when they played at Rock City last Dec? That was spine-tinglingly good! I take it you also have The Mark Lanegan Band stuff? And Libertine - just stop naming all the best bands and leave stuff for the rest of us! Has anyone mentioned Sonic Youth yet? Grandaddy? Flaming Lips? Neil Young? Howlin' Wolf?
