A Tribute to Leicester City!

Recommended Posts

We should use these lines as a song on matchdays.

Heros in blue and white, the team that we adore since 1884

they make my dark days bright, when im feeling grey, i think of filbert way

To the same tune and everything.

Yeah I thought this.

Wow we've got so much in common.

Reach around?

on about leicester songs fifteen years ago in pen 2, two big fat bovril swilling-pie eating blokes tried to get this song going for weeks but it never took off.......to the tune of phil collins groovy kind of love.

When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do

Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue

When you're watching city, you can feel your heart beat

I can hear you singing in my ear

Wouldn't you agree, city you and me, we've got a groovy kind of love

Any time you want two, you can go and score two

Anything you want to, any time at all,

when i see you score, ooh I start to shiver

Can't control the feeling deep inside

Wouldn't you agree, city you and me, we've got a groovy kind of love,

oho

leicester....leicester...leicester !!!!!

Too many lyrics for Leicester fans

And, as you've remember the lyrics, I think you were one of those 'big fat bovril swilling-pie eating blokes'

All I remember about David Oldfield is that he played in the first game I ever went to at Filbo.

From Australia.

Midfielder and striker on occasion.

Stood in the net when we scored.

Bit of a wimp.

Best 'masters' player we have.

That's utterly, utterly brilliant.

You see a few tribute videos posted on YouTube and they are all absolutely atrocious so when I saw this thread had so many replies I thought it must be because it was a particularly hilariously bad one! How wrong can you be?

Fantastic.

PS - When I heard the words "Lynex had", I knew what was coming! :D :D

This is absolutely a work of a genius.

Going to watch it for the 25th time ish :P

The club should contact Frank Sinclair he wont mind the own goal bit.

Please dont ruin the song, and suck all the soul out of it LCFC, like you have with everything else, like goal celebrations ruined by Chelsea Dagger.

My word!

Haven't been on the forum for a few days only to return to find a clip of Thracian on T.V which I thought was quality (nice one Thrac!).

Then I happened upon this, quite simply the best Leicester song ever made, utter genius. Brought back so many memories and not lacking in comedy value either!

Was in a bad mood, now feel much better after seeing that so thanks to the guy who found t!
