MC Prussian Posted 4 August 2011 Share Posted 4 August 2011 Better late than never - Mass Effect 2 is gorgeous. One of the best gaming experiences I've ever made. Almost as addictive as playing Final Fantasy VII some 13, 14 years ago. The storyline is superb, sucks you right in and won't let you go until you've finished the game. The only issue that I have is with controls - whenever you have to retreat under heavy fire, it can get a little too hectic and I've died more than once not knowing where I'm going moving backwards. And some of the AI opponents are vicious - some of the worst were those hunchback creatures that attack you with blue ground beams, the husks (****ers move in all directions, just not in the one I'm shooting! ) and the guys with flamethrowers. Spent around 40 hours on it now and I feel I've maybe seen half of it. Can't wait for ME 3, but before that one comes out and once I'm done with the second part, I'll have to go back and start out with the original Mass Effect.
