Phunny (Funny) Photos / Pictures

Just found this from an old blog of mine. It is a cartoon that was featured in the Mecury back in 19997 as a response to a letter I wrote about cyclists. I willjust post the link and if anyone wants to feel free to post the image if worthy of posting on this page.

Rudd me, they weren't cheap, where they?

The current iPod generation take for granted the fact they don't have to:

* buy new batteries everytime they ran out, which was basically all the time

* endure the tedium of having to rewind the tape

* master the art of fast forwarding / rewinding to the right place

* tolerate dreadful sound quality

Not to mention tapes being eaten and/or stretched when they reached the end and the player didn't click off until it had stretched the tape a millimetre or so... resulting in the fabled tape drawl.

I used to love cassettes, making up mix tapes, blatantly recording music off the radio. Happy days.

 

War is also one of U2's better albums as well
