Not much thought went into the Adam and Eve story full stop. Forget the belly buttons. What happened between the second and third generation would make a monumental Jeremy Kyle episode. Oh, and there's a talking snake, of course. Which is meant to be evil, but is more honest than God himself, incidentally.

I can't be bothered to get into another does god exist debate because they bore me to death but unless the artist is claiming that he actually got the original Adam and Eve to pose for him I don't know what this proves.

And I don't believe in god myself nor do I think we are descended from Adam and Eve.
