I was at a conference last week and he was giving a talk, I've never listened to his podcast but I gotta say he was very good, right on point, had done his research and really tied his message into the wider company message. Surprised me as I just knew him as the bloke off the TV. 

 

Maybe, just maybe, he's found a passion for something that he finds alot more fulfilling, unless of completely missed something from the original post, all he's doing is sharing that. 

 

Maybe we should let him do his thing as it's working for some, and if it's not for you then ignore it. Not sure why there's a need to belittle someone trying to improve other people's lives :dunno:

Fair enough if you had a decent experience of him but that tweet/ X of his screams humblebrag.

 

I agree with your last point in general but he's a bit of an exception. Ironically its him who tries to belittle the pundits would didnt acheive as much in order to be matey with the ones that did. There are clips over the years when he's acted like that. Same in F1.

 

With the way he carries himself he strikes me as the type of guy who would trample over anyone to climb the social just to fit in with the cool kids in school, likewise with his career.

 

Maybe I'm missing something with him, I dont know.
