peterborofox Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 I feel we have to go back to 4-4-2, we changed to it tonight when Fryatt's on and we score two. For me, Weale must start or at least be in the squad, but what we do need is a consistent starting keeper not swapping them about every game. There is no way Oakley should play as he seems to be getting worse and worse. And if Waghorn continues to start on the wing, well, a bigger chunk of his price tag is wasted. Legend_in_blue Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 The biggest change that is needed is not within the team, it's elsewhere. Mandaric, clear off. What a complete mess you have made.

Tuna Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 I like it how almost nobody picks Oakley in their XI yet we all know he is the first name on the team sheet. I'd go with GK Weale LB Kennedy RB Neilson DC Hobbs DC Morrison ML Dyer MC Wellens MC King MR Gallagher SC Waghorn SC Howard 4-4 fooking
stifler Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 weale - best goalkeeper we have morrison - natural right back. amazing last year hobbs - best defender we have had in years. parks/vitor - noone really to cover this position until/if tunch comes back berner - the most sturdy and consistant player last year. gallagher - puts in a brilliant cross, skillful. wellens - in my opinion, the playmaker in midfeild. picks out the best passes to set the attack off and breaks it up abit in medfeild. king - needs no intro. dyer - no matter who he plays, always a constant threat on the ball & gets a cheeky few nutmegs. howard - must have, he controls the attacks, only a certain few can beat him in the air. fryatt/waghorn - both paces, we all know what they can do. weale morrison - hobbs - parks - berner wellens © gallagher - dyer king howard - waghorn am i wrong? Like this alot. Simple 4-4-2, agree we are scraping the barrel to partner Hobbs with someone. Fed up of people criticising Wellens, he is the only one who tries to pick a defence splitting pass instead of pussying around with it across the middle. And he shows some vocal passion when we are shit. Would be a good captain. Must play 2 up front. Gallagher did well on the right last season and is better than Oakley
maddog Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 We have got to concentrate on defending and build from there. Weale must be in and i would seriously consider playing 5 defenders. We've got to get a clean sheet. Failing that hows about Abe and Moreno just infront of the back 4. We have to shut up shop.
Wymsey Posted 28 September 2010 Share Posted 28 September 2010 Why on earth hasn't CHRIS POWELL teach these defenders how to defend in the best possible way. As we are conceding far too many goals on a regular basis, what is he doing here?
