MC Prussian Posted 30 March 2011 Share Posted 30 March 2011 For the fans of contemporary Canadian tunes: Torquil Campbell (Stars, Broken Social Scene) and his pal Chris Dumont's own little pop project offers its third album. Malajube, a group of four from Québec, will release their own third album in Mid-April. And Sam Roberts, the rock wunderkid from Montreal, will be ready with the newest oeuvre, "Collider", later this May.

Joe. Posted 24 April 2011 Share Posted 24 April 2011 It's been a while in the making, but Tellison have finally brought out a new album. And it's as good as the debut (if you heard it). Roo, you might like this actually. Not sure whether you've heard of them too Alexei?
MC Prussian Posted 24 April 2011 Share Posted 24 April 2011 Not too much a fan of Tellison, sounds like any other 08/15 current indie brit rock band. However, I'm quite looking forward to this beauty. Out on May 9th:
Joe. Posted 25 April 2011 Share Posted 25 April 2011 We'll agree to disagree on that one. But I will say a huge amen brother to Wild Beasts, cannot wait for that.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 April 2011 Share Posted 26 April 2011 I'm a Tellison fan and I'm not too keen on some of the current indie-pop brigade that've come to the fore recently.

Dickie Greenleaf Posted 4 May 2011 Share Posted 4 May 2011 The bassist of Tellison once accused me of stealing his hoody (a £10 grey zip up H&M job) and spent 15 minutes insisting I gave it him back, before the div realised his was underneath his guitar case. CSB If you like Cut Copy have a listen to Holy Ghost. Didnt like the album; thought it was really boring. Same goes for Metronomy's new one which seems to have been hyped to ****. Just a matter of taste, I guess. Tellison sound awfully bland to my ears.
vandamman Posted 6 May 2011 Share Posted 6 May 2011 Stepping back in time a couple of weeks, April in fact but this album is superb, been loving it past couple of weeks. I suppose you would call them indie-folk. Thinking they might do well, already been touring with some big bands. The head and the heart.
