Right. Got myself in a bit of a pickle as I arrived just few minutes before the match started and all programme vendors was gone so I am unable to purchase a copy so do anyone know how can I get a copy of today match, do the club keep old copies or anyone of you got a spare one that you can sell to me? My local newsagent used to stock them but I have since moved to London so if anyone is able to get one from their local newsagent I am happy to pay for it and PP charges as well? Cheers.

Might seem a strange question but I may need one of my ears testing. I was listening to my mp3 via earphone and my left one doesn't pick it up so good. I am sure there was a free testing place in town. Not keen on going docs but I may have to. Tbh my left ear has been the poorer one for some time. Could it be hearing aid time? Another sign of growing older I don't want to admit to.

my right ear is doing the same , but It's probably full of the shite that keeps coming from that direction.

Thanks for the helpful and not so helpful advice. I was given advice by another friend. I might need my ear syringing.

i am over 60 so I must qualify for free treatment. After all I paid into the system for 45 years.

You should be able to arrange for your ears to be syringed free of charge through/at your GP's surgery, if that's what you need.

However, if wax blockage is the problem, they'll almost certainly tell you to try pouring olive oil into your ear for a week or two (sometimes works, sometimes makes things worse, in my experience).

If wax is the issue, I'd recommend syringing. Effective, painless and strangely pleasurable, almost sensual...the closest I've got to understanding why so many women like all this "pamper yourself", health spa nonsense.

I get my ears syringed every 6 months. I love it but I know people hate it too.

Weirdos.

I get it done every 12ish.

I'm the same, used to hate it but now find it quite therapeutic.
