I think I've worked out a way of adding an extra mile without re-tracing my steps, so I don't need to make the jump to 8.

My route takes me over a canal, so my options are a bit limited if I'm to make it a circuit, but I've just looked at an OS map and found a bridge that I didn't know was there.

Do you run, Strokes?

Not at the minute, I did before we had the kids but i kind of lost the routine. I tried to start again recently but after decided i needed to give up smoking before trying again. I've not smoked now since the start of July, so i guess its time to get the trainers out.

Once i am fit enough, i know i will enjoy it but getting there :\

I dont; know where Chug Laguna appeared from but he has soon made his way into my second favourite poster.

From behind?...How does your second favourite feel about this?

It takes four days to make three eggs, three being the lowest whole number of eggs that a chicken can lay, that number being three.

Collecting fractional eggs was outlawed on Decimal Day, 1971

Politcal correctness gone mad i tell ya!

Technically, 0 eggs would be the lowest whole number that they could lay. And again, a farmer wouldn't wait for a chicken to have laid three eggs, they'd be collected daily when laid.

But I did like your last sentence.

Just checked my phone bill online and noticed I've been charged £1.50 for a text from/to (?) 85222 for last Saturday. It was at 20.25 and I was out with friends and my battery was virtually dead so wasn't using my phone.

Anyone else ever been charged mysteriously like so?

Yeah course you "don't remember" it, a quick Google search tells me that 85222 is a notorious sex line.

Pest.

Is anyone on here a lorry driver?

I'm trying to look into how to go from having a full car license to being able to drive an arctic and the fees involved in training and tests. Every website I look on is just adverts for training packages and the dvla site isn't too clear

Rule number one, it's not an arctic. If you want to drive an artic (articulated) lorry, you need a a Class 1 licence, which will cost you something like a grand from a specialist trainer. There's plenty of firms about so give one a call for exact prices.

You inspired me to check my online billing and it appears Vodafone have put my package up by £7 a month, the absolute shits.

I don't see the point of a contract if they can just ramp the price up when they feel like it.

I might can them when my conny is up. Can anybody recommend a network that isn't run by ruthless turds?

They should not do that. A contract is a contract. They should consult you first with any changes. Call them up and ask why. They may be trying it on.

I'm with virgin and its under a tenner. They text me when the bill is ready stating how much it is.

On receiving texts, the last couple of weeks i was getting loads of texts informing me what was going on at Flikr. I even got one saying I had added stuff. I have not used it for ages. In the end I replied with STOP. They replied saying I would get no more Twitter alerts. I have had no Flikr messages on my PC account so it seems strange.I don't think I am charged for incoming texts. Well I hope not. I have some  free anyway.

I'd suggest EE although they've done the same - however they have consulted me before. Although perhaps consult is the wrong word. They've told me they're going to up the price of the contract by a % at a given date. A consultation process would suggest that the recipient of the service has some option to question the cost of the service.

But I'm glad to be of inspiration! £7/month is quite a steep increase though.
