Fox92 Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Quite clearly a WUM but does make some good points, that they are too stubborn to admit, funny nevertheless. Heard him live on the way back from Newcastle. I wish they would ban him. Guy is a joke (and not in a funny way).

MC Prussian Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Independent Match Rating - 3/10???? Newcastle never turned up, it was a pretty one-sided affair. But I do agree with the notion that a three out of ten is a bit harsh.

Babylon Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Had to laugh this morning with the ratings in the paper. Tiote got a 6 for 19 minutes of play. Kante got 6.5 and Fuchs 5.

Corky Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 I don't quite understand this argument about "easier games". This is supposedly the toughest league in the world, every game is hard, "you'd do well to win there, Jeff". Then we are told that the matches against the top sides are bonus games (horrible phrase) whilst you'd look at those teams around you to pick up your main collection of points. Only now we are winning those tough matches against the sides you need to beat and it's not as good because you haven't played the top sides? Yet last season we did very well early on against good sides but "beating those around you really matters, you can't just raise your game against the big boys and not back it up". In any case, aren't we one of those teams the sides near the bottom would look to beat before it started? So what is it? The toughest and best league or 3/4 full of crap who anyone should be putting away?
C-man Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 (edited) They also reckon he's out of contract in the summer. Just do some fvcking basic research it's not as if we're discussing some nobody is it? http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/Jamie-Vardy-signs-new-year-contract-Leicester/story-22783588-detail/story.html Edited 22 November 2015 by C-man

Note to Everton in the 22 game run, you've failed to beat 7 of the "easy" teams we've beaten.

We have beaten good sides and played teams that would be expected to make it easily into the top 10. So I guess from their perspective we have 25 top 4 teams coming up... we have just played the relegation fodder all season...
foxfanazer Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Love the 'they got battered by the first top team they played' argument too. That was a very good Arsenal we played that day and we had a go unlike most teams. Yes we were a little naive but I can't fault us if the effort is there

Guest ttfn Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 People also mention our heavy defeat to Arsenal as proof we're not good enough to compete at the top end of the table. Aside from the fact that we could easily have been 3-0 up after 20 minutes that no right-thinking Leicester fan expects us to be in the top 4 at the end of the season, Man United also lost by 3 goals to Arsenal, Chelsea lost by 3 goals to Man City and Man City have lost by 3 goals to both Liverpool and Spurs. In fact of the teams expected to be in the title hunt, only Arsenal haven't been walloped by another title contender 1 their problem conversely is losing games they are expected to win (eg yesterday) - exactly the sort of games we've been winning ourselves. Consistency wins titles. You get the same amount of points for a win at home to Sunderland as you do for winning at the Etihad. We certainly aren't in the title race, but once again there doesn't seem to be anybody in the media standing up and making the rather obvious point that the most consistent team is top of the league at the moment. Exactly and believe it or not, you get more points from beating all the sides outside the so called top four... why because there are another 15 teams, not including yourselves to get 3 points against... lgfualol Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Reddit is enjoyable place to be. Everyone likes us apart from Man U fans still moaning about 5-3, jealous Sunderland and Palace fans. Every popular thread filled with praise for us always has one of their fans moaning about our squad depth and we're crap apart from Vardy and Mahrez. Merging Cultures Posted 22 November 2015 Share Posted 22 November 2015 Well 1 million smackers is doing that for us regularly ...Which isn't much money these days. Which is the point. And it isn't the money that is scoring the goals, it's the player. The fact he was only valued at £1m is laughable now, especially when you see just as unproven players going for much more and not performing at all.
