The "do they mean us?" thread

Recommended Posts

Tony Pulis is the kinda guy who whinges about foreigners ruining the English league an arl.

Absolute helmet. Either play him or let him go.

Look at what Big Sam said the other day.

SAM ALLARDYCE launched into an amazing rant about foreign players after Jermain Defoe was accused of elbowing Nicolas Otamendi.

The Sunderland striker floored the Manchester City defender with a flailing arm during the second half of last night’s clash at the Stadium of Light.

But an angered Allardyce, who memorably labelled Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a “soft German” in December for criticising Jeremain Lens’ tackle on Mamadou Sakho, slammed Otamendi’s reaction.

Big Sam insisted: “Jermain Defoe doesn’t elbow anybody on purpose.

“They make a big fuss about it and that’s what they do.

“That’s mostly foreign players, they do make a big fuss of it.

“That’s in their nature. They react in a more volatile way to incidents like that than we do.

__________

Lallana made a big fuss about when Huth elbowed him in the face. Poor comments from Sam.

Who's the grovelling vagina pretending to be a Leicester fan as he keeps reiterating how shit we are?

This cretin clearly doesn't have a life if they have time to post on another fans forum im guessing its the same person who does it on the sunderland forum and right now it trying to register with Wolves

This, a million times this.

Man City without Aguero - Minus 13 goals

Arsenal without Giroud - Minus 12 goals

Spurs without Kane - Minus 15 goals

Everton without Lukaku - Minus 15 goals

Watford without Ighalo - Minus 14 goals

Granted the last two aren't challengers for the title/champions league, but if you take the top goalscorer out of any of those teams it will affect their league position significantly. The same even goes for taking Rooney's 7 goals away from United, Payet's 6 for West Ham or Defoe and Wijnaldum's 9 each for Sunderland and Newcastle respectively. Those two would be dead and buried without those goals.

It's just a terrible argument.

I wonder how many points this equates to? (Can't be bothered to work it out myself! :P )

Vardy makes one very misguided angry comment towards one particular guy in a casino; "RACIST!" the red-tops and every other fan crowed from the ramparts.

Big Sam makes it crystal clear how he feels about foreigners (presumably including the ones who play for Sunderland) and everyone's cool with it.  Hmmmm.

Also while I still have it open in another tab - shout out to the Man City fans complaining about people focusing on the vast amounts of money they spend as though it's not the one key factor behind their success... while each page plays the same video of one of their Senior Advisors talking about how Man City will break the transfer record under Pep.

Just linked this in the prem thread but since it's relevant here too, take a look at this about Kane: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/10155990/better-off-without-harry-kane-the-amazing-stat-of-tottenham8217s-season

Agreed. All this crap about taking players out of teams.

Vardy is employed as striker to finish off the chances we create as a team. That is his position.

Take Aguero out of their side or Kompany for that matter and they turn to mush.

PULIS ON BERAHINO

Tony Pulis is speaking ahead of West Brom's trip to Newcastle on Saturday, the club who attempted to sign Saido Berahino in the winter window, and he's had this to say about his striker...

"This football club has been without one of best goal scorers in the Premier League for the whole season. Take Vardy out of Leicester and see where they are.

Fook off Pulis, thinks he's smart in saying that a team isn't as good as it is when you remove the top goal scorer

Still comfortably above West Brom and their centre halves at full back I'd imagine.

If Leicester kept losing games instead of winning them they'd be in the bottom third like WBA.

Interesting comparison between us this season and Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

http://twentyminutereads.com/2016/02/04/secrets-of-the-italian-4-4-2/

Very interesting.

“Four-three-three doesn’t give the balance required and it’s more difficult to pressure higher upfield. Our intention is to defend with a 4-4-2 and attack with a 4-3-3.”

After the Spurs home game in the cup Ranieri mentioned that we needed to get better at 4-3-3.

I think he meant the starting formation. We already attack pretty much as a 4-3-3 with Ryad joining the attack much higher up the pitch, with Albrighton more tucked back into midfield.

Manchester City Manager Manuel Pellegrini hailed table-topping Leicester City who the Blues face tomorrow in the early kickoff. The winner will go top of the table. However Pellegrini rightly states the game is not decisive as lots of football remains to be played after tomorrow.

"They have a very good squad with not many players injured. They play with the same team every week. They have less games than other teams but I think the merit of the squad is very important.

"In football, not only finances make the difference - of course you must buy players to win the title but I always said the big teams but every year there's a surprise. Leicester are all thinking and doing the same thing at right moment. That can equalise the finances.

"I don't know if you can compare but what we did at Villarreal was similar. We reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and finished second in the league.

"Maybe it's not a team with a lot of possession but they defend very well with a lot of concentration and they counter-attack with a lot of speed. If you have the commitment of the players as a manager, that's the most important thing.

"It's not the biggest game of the season so far- we can win or lose this game and the Premier League will not end here. We have 39 more points to fight for. You cannot think you're champion if you win and if you lose, there are lots more points.

"It's a good game, a big game but not decisive."

This applies to us as well.
