MC Prussian Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 (edited) 'The best ever' Leicester 4-0 Swansea Robbie Savage Ex-Wales midfielder at the King Power Stadium for 5 live Sport "Leicester winning the league would have to be the best achievement in domestic sport. Ever. It is that incredible. And I don't think we'll see anything like this ever again. "I just can't believe it. Everybody here is the same from when I was around; the kitman, the people holding the doors open. But on the pitch they are transformed. It's one of those moments when you think: I was there." I'm sorry, Robbie. But you've never been near a Premier League trophy in your lifetime. And the King Power/Walkers Stadium didn't exist yet when you were wearing our colours. Popular Post swanningaround Posted 24 April 2016 Popular Post Share Posted 24 April 2016 Ahhhh, poor old sick note Anderton. He can do one, I don't care if my boys were pathetic or you foxes were very good. You've been a breath of fresh air this season. People calling Huth out are just hypocritical, every title winning team has had enforcers, usually centre backs or centre midfielders, sometimes both Souness, Viera, Roy Keane......Leeds in the 70's had 4/5 of them! We could have bought Vardy for £800, 000 in 2012 but our chairman said it was too much money, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 I'm sorry but I can but point to TFC again, it's a priceless read containing tales of greed, hunger, lust, deceit and frustration coupled with some of the best conspiracy theories you've ever heard - heck, it's even better than Game Of Thrones at times: Ok, now you're getting desperate. http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/other-matches-fred-2015-16.15164/page-515 Ok bit my tongue with those ***** so far but that's it. Manwell Pablo Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 I think we better get the straitjackets ready Wisely stopped new registrations. If that's not admittance your fan base talks utter garbage I dunno what is. Fans like them let their own side down, shame as they have an excellent young team that would be competing for titles for years to come if they weren't a Real Madrid feeder team. The Doctor Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 Would love Pulis to scum a Pulisball result tomorrow night, then us win next weekend with an obvious non-penalty having had 11% of the possession, just to see that forum drown in a sea of collective bile and tears.
Carl the Llama Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 I will add that whoever "ALLONOUROWN" is on the Melty Cock site needs to revise their maths skills. Presuming Spurs continue to get maximum points then one more win won't be enough to secure the title, we need 5 more points to do that given they can still finish on 80pts. Guest Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 As a nice bit of balance from the Guardian comments post-match "Being a Spurs fan, I sat down to watch this one rooting for Swansea. That lasted about five minutes. The energy in the stadium and the commitment from the players makes it impossible for me to even pretend to dislike you. Leicester City and Tottenham in 2016 are exactly what football should be: Players who play for the shirt, managers who act like gentlemen, and fans who don’t treat the title chase like it’s their damned birthright. I’d still obviously prefer my Spurs to pip the Foxes to the title, but I can promise that I’ll be celebrating as happily as the next guy if Leicester hold on. The players as well as the fans deserve no less. What a season, and what a couple of clubs. Long live the both of us."

carled Posted 24 April 2016 Share Posted 24 April 2016 They have forgot that Spurs still have four to play You two need to have a word with yourselves. Whoever it is says "WBA are likely to rollover in similar fashion tomorrow night too. But if you don't manage to beat them we will need just one more win". If they lose they can only get to 77. If they draw they can only get to 78. Therefore one more win for us = 79 points and what does that mean? That you've had a mare ;-)

Every sane-sounding Spurs fan who visits here denounces them before they say anything else which tells you all you need to know.Yeah but that really wound me up.Does he honestly think a few day trippers after winning the league, not scraping fourth like they did, is going to be something to worry about, they wouldn't know a hard time if it jumped up smacked them in the nose. Try losing consecutive play off finals, try getting embarrassed the season after, although both them and their shit north London counter parts managed to make that a season to remember. If not try administration, try putting your hand in your own pocket to try and keep your club afloat as I and many other fans did. Maybe I'm wrong but I think they may have a problem doing that. Try getting relegated the season after that through numerous dodgey decisions (perhaps any Spurs fan who claim luck should watch that season and realise If the old "things even themselves out" then we are still very much in credit with the bank of "luck") Then there is watching years of garbage championship football without a pot to piss in, mark de vries, elvis Hammond , Stephen Hughes and company, I don't know why those three players came to mind but for some reason it felt relevant. Then we get relegated to league one, by stoke city of all people, away days at Colchester at Swindon. Glorious. Then we go up and lose the play offs due to the fact a certain decent player can't chip a ball properly. Sven. Then we've the roller coaster of the deeeennneeeyyy season which saw us get in the play offs by an utter miracle just to concede the most amazing last minute winner in footballing history. Last season I don't need to into detail and I think I've made my point. If you think we are worried about a few fans upsetting the apple cart after all we've been through jog the fck on you silly north London prik,, believe it or not there have been a few instances in our history that have divided our fan base. This is fck all, this is glory, when or lose the title, I'm on top of the world. The bad times make the good times all that sweater, good luck with that Leicester? Fck off you cnt.
