He's never been taken to points col. Well....not over 12 anyway. But then kell is technically speaking the most talented fighter he has fought.

exactly what will happen is very hard to call with kell carrying the extra weight. id avoid betting on it like the plague myself but I guess golovkin points is not the worst shout as otherwise your picking a ko round. As you no doubt noticed golovkin outright not worth it.

But it's not extra weight is it ?

He has to do 16 weeks camps usually to waste muscle and condition to get to 147

his normal cardio training off camp is at 170

he won't gas at all !

The weight is a NON story

the fact he is fighting someone who has the potential to be a legend is the real issue here

300 fights and maybe 1000+ sparing rounds and never ever been down !

Kell is special but GGG is potential legend material

this is an amazing fight and I can't wait to get it London , going down tonight and hoping for serious action

my guess is GGG between 5 and 8

but it ill be shouting for Kell , he had taken a huge punt here and it deserves to pay out

I don't agree about GGG being a 'legend'.

For GGG to become a legend, he must do something similar of what Brook is doing tomorrow night. GGG hasn't fought a top World Class fighter.

It's probably unfair to judge GGG by his lack of competition, but the names on his CV really are nothing special.

Im not having that fighting that much above his normal fighting weight isn't going to effect him at all. At the end of the day fighters tend to fight at their chose weight for a reason, if he were that natural a middleweight, he'd fight all his fights at middleweight.

but yeah agree with the rest!

For once I agree with you.

If Brook is a 'natural' Middleweight, fighting at Welterweight all his career makes no sense. It isn't a more competitive and therefore a financially rewarding division.

Also, why has Kell and Ingle maintained both the 'it's his natural weight' and 'he's moving up two weight divisions' arguments at the same time?

Either this is his natural weight, and in the past he has moved down to Welter, or Welter is his natural weight and he is now moving up two weights.

Plaudits of Brook have long given the 'he should be respected more and be a bigger name worldwide' argument. If he had boxed his career at his 'natural' weight, imagine the fights he could of had.

I'm not a fan of Khan. His arrogance for a obviously talented, but also very limited fighter, due to his lack of a chin, is annoying. But i suppose at least he took the risk earlier, to fight the likes of Canelo, and was willing to change weights to draw bigger fights.

Generally it's a power issue not weight , heavy hitters never drop down ! And those that can't take a punch should never move up (Amir)

they drop to the smallest possible weight their bodies can manage to maintain the most effect power to weigh ratio

that's always been the way

brook will not gas ....

gassing is the least of his problems !

he needs hard flashing jabs and counters and he needs to make GGG take a step back , virtually impossible on all known evidence , but this is new evidence Kell is different he is classy and fast , for Kell he faced the new "baby Tyson" in Porter and beat him now he is facing an even bigger hitter

but if he hits and doesn't get hit he becomes the best on planet

its a fairytale ..... But occasionally they come true

LCFC ...proved that !

Watching the Weigh-in.....

Brook looks healthy and big.

GGG looks ok. Looked a little withdrawn and quiet though. Usually he smiles a bit, maybe he's just more focused than ever.

Rumours here in hotel that he has been under weather health wise

I have backed Kell

this is so intriguing

Im not saying he will gas, I'm not even saying it will effect him I'm saying it could. For me it was more about being able maintain the same level of speed and mobility rather anything to do with fitness, but the conversation was around betting and being able to predict exactly what is going to happen in the fight. The point was more I've never seen kell Brook fight at this weight so advising col on exactly what will happen in betting terms is not something I'd feel confident about. With boxing betting needing to be so precise to get a decent return.

For me Boxing betting is really casino stuff , they are the worst betting markets on planet For decent odds returning

but if you go big at the value odds even when they are really short you can nick a few quid

I back to play in play .... Only way I can make it pay

Brook will be killed

Maybe.

But as long as he gives it his best shot and seizes the opportunity, that's all we can ask of him. Fair play to him for taking on the challenge and stepping up to fight the best PPP fighter on the planet I say. And I've still got a funny feeling he might surprise us all - and I'll be £150 better off if he does!
