General Smuts Posted 21 September 2011 Share Posted 21 September 2011 Alreet all. I've just moved house and need to set up Sky and Tinternet sharpish. Every option i look at is ridic either getting stung for line rental or installation. Anybody know anyway around this or a cheap way of matching all 3? My options at the moment are to stick with Sky for TV, BT for line rental and O2 broadband at £42 but have to pay £130 to get all this installed or get the tinternet with Virgin so not have to pay the line rental but get copped with £40 for installation. My preferred option is to get all 3 with Sky. Broadband is free but has a 2GB monthly usage. Does that include XBOX Live and my daily porn marathons? I also don't know if the £12.25 for line rental is on top of having to pat BT or not. Anyone got a cheapo option of getting all 3?

Ric Flair Posted 21 September 2011 Share Posted 21 September 2011 Smuts, email me. I have a 12 month half price deal with Sky I can give you. Sadly, I couldn't use it as my TWAAAAAAAAAAT of a landlord will only let me have Virgin as he doesn't want a dish on his gaff.

The Doctor Posted 21 September 2011 Share Posted 21 September 2011 Already gave that a try. Bloody passwords. Any home wi-fi I've seen, the password has been the landline phone number - try and trick them into giving you that through claims of neighbourhood security or some such rubbish. You're better off doing this early in the week, I understand they have a limited allocation of options to prevent drop outs but it's used up by mid-week.
