Top 40 decades - Your Favourite Albums Of The Nineties?

some great albums in that decade interesting you chose clouds taste metallic over The Soft Bulletin or Transmissions

I like both those albums too, but, I don't know, there's just something about "Clouds" that floats my boat more than the others. "The Soft Bulletin" would be a very close second though. Maybe it's because CTM was the first one I heard, and I bought it when I was on holiday in the US and it brings back good memories. At that time they were an ultra-obscure band and I had no idea they would become household names in the UK (well, at least amongst serious music fans anyway!)

Ha. Almost ALL of the ones in your list that weren't in mine would have been somewhere between 41-75 if I'd stretched to a top 75!

Not that obscure I was already into them from Transmissions!! got it on orange vinyl (original pressing i believe) everytime I used to think it was skipping at the end of she don't use jelly!!

was also ment to see them on the electric mainline tour with spiritualized and mercury rev, david baker era on the same bill, but the lips pulled out
