Bee Taechaubol bought 49% of Milan (pretty sure he's Thai). Prefer AC to Inter but it'd be good to see Serie A make a come back, just a shame about the stadia and attendances though.

Oh, and the match-fixing.

More Serie A;

Roma have bought the remaining 50% of Nainggolan & Bertolacci, as well as Iago Falque and Ibarbo (loan) all from Cagliari over the last few days for around €32m + add ons, Bertolacci could end up being sold to Milan 'at the right price'.

Sassuolo to buy Juventus' 50% of Berardi with Juve having an €18m option to sign him next year.

A somewhat funny story from the US:

The American Soccer Association has banned Clint Dempsey for at least two years from all US Open Cup competitions, this after he ripped apart the referee's notepad in an cup derby against the Portland Timbers ten days ago:

  • 2 weeks later...

So one of the newer nations have been asking FIFA for help after conceding 114 goals in just 3 games in the Pacific games. Micronesia a group of Pacific Islands have lost all 3 games. The first was a 30-0 loss, the second a 38-0 loss to Fiji and their 3rd defeat to Vanuatu they got beat 46-0 how a team manages to score a goal every 2 minutes must really take some beating.

Teams like San Marino and the like should be in their own Euro leagues, etc (or even a play-off before the Euro's etc).

Not being competitive against average/top national teams will only become predictable and eventually boring,

That's just ridiculous lol I literally think eleven randomers would probably beat them. How do you get it that wrong?

Tiny population and football not being a big sport over there. Probably no coaches to help organise them. It's easy for us to mock as we grow up playing from a young age, get coached by experienced players and coaches, but imagine having nothing and starting from scratch.

But at least they are trying, and they have to start somewhere

Plus the islands are spread out across a large area and have their own identities so it's hard to get 11 players together to regularly train.
