The World Football Thread

Recommended Posts

They're renowned for far left politics, nearly all Polish hooligan and ultra groups are renowned for far right, neo fascist politics.

One group of political football fans trolling another is hardly new or even news to be honest.

Celta de Vigo's European tour didn't really go down too well:

The game versus Galatasaray ended with some fighting between players after Podolski maintained the upper hand in a tussle against Argentine defender Cabral.

Facing Nuremberg a few days later and with 75 minutes played, tempers flared once again after a hefty, but fair challenge from Jan Polak.

And the third "friendly" against Ingolstadt had to be called off after about the same amount of time because the Spaniards just couldn't let go of throwing their fists around.

Jay Z actually is a registered sports agent in the states, to be fair, isn't he?

Correct, he founded Roc Nation Sports. His agency represents a lot of high profile athletes in the US: Robinson Cano (baseball), Ndamakong Suh (american football), Kevin Durant (basketball) to name a few.

And a judge in Bavaria has ordered two 1860 Munich fans to either serve their time in jail or buy items out of the Bayern Munich fan shop - this after an assault on a Bayern supporter.

Moral of the story - they were apparently plastics, as both of them went home with a bit more Bayern memorabilia. :D
