StanSP Posted 17 January 2016 Share Posted 17 January 2016 Juve running riot against Udinese. 4-0 up against them at half time. Udinese playing in their fully-revamped stadium for the first time. MC Prussian Posted 22 January 2016 Share Posted 22 January 2016 Bayern's 2-1 away win at Hamburg to kick off the second half of the season was a rather flat affair. Lots of running around on both sides, but a bit headless overall and tactics went amiss early on. Goalkeeper Adler with a clumsy challenge on Müller on the edge of the box leads to Lewandowski's first, then the Polish striker reacts quicker than the HSV defender next to him. No offside there. Just. Lewis Holtby's free-kick goal is just one of those shots that bounces so unfortunately for a goalkeeper - Lasogga, the cheeky sod, thought he'd scored himself at first. MC Prussian Posted 24 January 2016 Share Posted 24 January 2016 (edited) Just watched the highlights of PSG v Angers. If you have a chance watch it! The build-up to PSG's third was ridiculous. First, Ibrahimovic's trickery, then the long ball to the left, topped by Matuidi's acrobatic cross back into the box, van der Wiel's touch, BOOM! Di Maria's long-range shot... MC Prussian Posted 25 January 2016 Share Posted 25 January 2016 (edited) Ronaldo's acting a bit touchy lately. His foul on Real Bétis' Molinero is his fifth unprofessional scene in the last two months - before that he was involved in an intentional kicking at Las Palmas' Simon, a punching incident with Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak, a revenge foul on Dani Alves in El Clasico and another confrontation, this time with Sporting Gijon's Nacho Cases. He hasn't received a single yellow or red card for these antics, mind. Edited 25 January 2016 by MC Prussian

Dan LCFC Posted 27 January 2016 Share Posted 27 January 2016 PSG are a serious dark horse to win the CL this season I reckon. I think Barcelona will become the first team in the CL era to retain it but PSG have the quality to make at least the semis for me.

Dan LCFC Posted 27 January 2016 Share Posted 27 January 2016 Can you really define them as a dark horse when they're the fourth best side in the competition? You won't get many saying they'll win it, for me that means they can be classed as a bit of a dark horse.

MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2016 Share Posted 31 January 2016 Werder Bremen in the bottom 3 of the Bundesliga, what happened there? It's not that dramatic with Hoffenheim and Hannover still below them and Bremen only two points off safety in 15th spot, but the club's been on a steady decline for a while and troubled by financial woes. Budget's tight and I think they couldn't sign anyone big on a permanent this season, thus went for loans such as Chelsea's Djilobodji.
StanSP Posted 31 January 2016 Share Posted 31 January 2016 Milan beat Inter 3-0 today in the derby. Niang, the guy we were linked with on Friday, scored their 3rd. Eder started for Inter and missed a couple of decent chances in the first half. Inter were fairly poor in the 2nd half though. And in Bayern vs Hoffenheim, Kramaric apparently missed about 3 or 4 really good opportunities.
