ScouseFox Posted 6 February 2014 Share Posted 6 February 2014 Parts of the Atleti crowd who were still there post match whilst Real were warming down racially abused Marcelo. Lots of monkey noises. His kid then ran over to him on the pitch and the chanting of "Marcelo you're a monkey" stopped, to be replaced with something along the lines of "hey kid we hope your dad dies". Pretty grim. Thought that type of obvious racism had cooled down in Spain, hadn't heard a lot about it for a while. Hopefully it was just a minority and they will be made an example of.
