James18 Posted 20 March 2012 Share Posted 20 March 2012 Use sharepod. http://www.getsharepod.com/. Did it when I got my new laptop. It's a fast download and really simple to use. It converts all your music into files, so then you just drag and drop them onto your iTunes like you would when you download.

Royston. Posted 11 January 2013 Share Posted 11 January 2013 my little sister wants to get music from her laptop onto her ipod. i suggested downloading itunes onto the laptop and then transferring music from the laptop to the ipod. Is this possible and would it be possible to aquire music illegally and transfer it to my itunes collection. Said id come round and sort it for her but i dont really know much about this and dont want to look like a dickhead.
21st Century Fox Posted 11 January 2013 Share Posted 11 January 2013 I'm not 100% sure what you're asking but you can add any MP3 files to your iTunes library and use it to rip CD's to MP3's that are then automatically added. So any MP3's already on a laptop can easily be added to iTunes to create a 'Library' which can then be easily synced to an iPod.
The Doctor Posted 11 January 2013 Share Posted 11 January 2013 Yeah, you'd go via itunes to put music on the ipod. As for illegal music - course you can, you just put any mp3 file in there and it's added to your itunes library.
