Manwell Pablo Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 Well I quite like it, think Expedition mode is loads better than UT and the online tournament as always is a great idea, attention to detail is spot on and it's £15.
Amin Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 Is it true that the DLC doesn't include the Euro qualifiers?
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 Is it true that the DLC doesn't include the Euro qualifiers? Of sorts it includes something called expedition mode which makes you play through every group as a created team, there is no conventional qualifiers. Ross-Kemp Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 I've heard all the players names are incorrect ? Something to do with the rights for their names ? Any truth in this ?
HEGGSY Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 I've not seen all of them but I know that is the case withe Wales, Bale is "Belth", Bellamy is "Belmont", Ramsay is "Rumsay", Earnshaw is "Earnshol" ect. Strange

The Blur Posted 25 April 2012 Share Posted 25 April 2012 Turned out the trial actually contain the file and what I purchased was just a key to upgrade the demo to a full game. Strange EA don't have the image rights etc to the Welsh National side that's why there not on International teams on the game normally however Bale, Earnshaw etc are on the games for there respected clubs..... I was thinking about getting the add on but £15 seems abit to steep? Then again I suppose it's better than paying £40 for FIFA 12 just in a international version. Bloody EAs http://community.eu....15854177/page/3 That's basically the same for all arcade games though. Usually says "unlock" for whatever price. That is what I thought while downloading it but then again it is rather appalling move from EA to have a buy the full version link and expecting the users who hasn't downloaded the trial to know what to do when nothing happens after the installation. It's the same as how FIFA Street demo worked. And Ultimate Team when you had to pay for it. It should be pretty obvious

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 26 April 2012 Share Posted 26 April 2012 So tempted to get this, gutted you can't do the full qualifiers though because after winning the tournament with a couple of different teams I can imagine it becoming very boring. Might just take the gamble for £17, FIFA becomes boring during the summer when it's all the old kits etc, so this will be decent when the euros are on. stix Posted 26 April 2012 Share Posted 26 April 2012 I think i may wait until the euros start before i get this. Am still happy playing FIFA 12 for now & it may be on offer nearer the time. Certainly shouldnt be more expensive anyway.
GLC Posted 1 May 2012 Share Posted 1 May 2012 I've got it, it's ok, but not all teams are licensed. Wales and Ukraine have pro evo type names, Gareth Bilet and Joe Ludley

Manwell Pablo Posted 2 May 2012 Share Posted 2 May 2012 But Bale and Ledley have the correct names in club competitions - why not in the DLC. Seems ludicrous. It's the teams that carry the licence not the players themselves, don't have the licence from the team can't name the players. Didn't realise Ukraine did not have proper names, I would have thought they would have at least made sure they had the 16 qualified nations licenced :-S
