“Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisoned by the enemy, don't we consider it his duty to escape?. . .If we value the freedom of mind and soul, if we're partisans of liberty, then it's our plain duty to escape, and to take as many people with us as we can!”

Gladbeck Hostage Crisis on Netflix.

For twenty minutes, it takes some getting used to as it’s a documentary told by media clips of the actual event. It’s absolutely mindblowing and never knew of this event. By the end it’s incredibly tense and ultimately sad.

The Bear is well worth a watch. A bit different, great characters, some lovely comedic moments, excellent acting... and if you've ever worked in a kitchen, you'll be nodding manys a time at the seemingly inconsequential details.

It's got me hooked at the moment, and I think/hope I'm going to love it.

D.B. Cooper Where Are You? - Netflix

Documentary about the notorious plane jacker in 1971 who took $200k and parachuted out of the plane to never be caught. I've only watched half of it so far but it's always fascinating stuff as he's a bit of a legend.

Thought that was only a storyline in prison break. Didn’t realise it was a real thing.

Rewatching the sopranos, it almost gets better every time. Nothing comes close really

Not long finished it for the second time around. Don't think I'll ever watch anything that matches up to it. A true masterpiece imo

It's one of those shows where no word is wasted and everything has some sort of implication further down the road. Unbelievable lead character as well!

What actually is love island? Never watched it but I thought it used to just be a show where they hoped people would hook up? Sounds a bit boring admittedly but from what I see and hear about it now the "contestants" just have their minds and emotions ****ed with? Which in this day and age of mental health seems like an unusual thing to get away with airing.
