Be careful of BT, they used to add things i`d not asked for on to my bill .
masterg59 Posted 2 July 2012 Share Posted 2 July 2012 i was with bt for years prices kept creeping up jumped ship to talk talk . have had no problems with them we pay £22ish which includes my line rental, talk talk also do add-on's so i can call my son in Canada free for an extra 2 pounds a month(not exactly free but you now what i mean,) and i think you can add on anytime calls for £4.50. so in conclusion i think you could get the whole lot line rental included for less than bt,s quote thats without 6 months half price deals or whatever offers talk talk have on at the minute. go have a look at talk talk no i dont work for them just a very very satisfied customer

Kyle_Le_Don Posted 2 July 2012 Author Share Posted 2 July 2012 Thanks a lot for all your help. Think I'm definatley gonna check out TalkTalk. Even though I remember watching that 'Don't Get Done Get Dom' programme about them how a he found it really difficult when calling them about a problem, Could never get hold of the same person twice and seemed to be going round in circles. However the deals do look good and a friend has told me he's had no trouble with them. Made my day so much easier

Daggers Posted 2 July 2012 Share Posted 2 July 2012 Who would you reccomend then for the opposite award then I can't get Virgin anymore - but the fibre-optic service beats the shit out of anything else IMO. I have Plusnet at the mo: it's reliable, the call centre is in the UK, they don't cap downloads overnight or add it to your limit and they are currently refusing to provide anyone with information about users usage. Well I've never had a problem with them, you have a bit of a long wait to get through to an Indian call centre but they've always corrected any problems I've had.Maybe I'm just lucky though

Bayfox Posted 4 July 2012 Share Posted 4 July 2012 Just left BT and there rip off prices to try orange £13.50 a month line rental and £5 unlimited broadband, saving me about £30 only swapped the boxes over last night so can't really say what the download and uploads are yet PS3 says only about 4.2 but thats mainly due to the shitty phone line. was only 5.4 with BT.
