foz.foz Posted 6 September 2012 Share Posted 6 September 2012 any one know of any software I could use to record the sound of something off of youtube. Need some new ringtones for the phone and have found a Defender video. I'll need to be able to chop the sound waves up as well so I'll need something to do that also. Thanks.. Petchy Posted 6 September 2012 Share Posted 6 September 2012 Use Free YouTube to MP3 converter by DVDVideosoft to download it as an MP3. Then, use Audacity to cut the bit you want.

MrSpaM Posted 7 September 2012 Share Posted 7 September 2012 The DVDsoft one is the best one to use, you just have to watch it with the installer as it will have a bunch of options ticked to install toolbars on your pc by default, just make sure you uncheck them and make sure you actually read what is on screen. http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/free-youtube-to-mp3-converter.htm
